In this vital role, you will ensure that all areas of the restaurant are spotless, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff alike. Your attention to detail and commitment to hygiene will contribute directly to delivering an exceptional dining experience. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality setting where your efforts help create a positive atmosphere for all visitors. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of dining areas, kitchens, restrooms, and service stations using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals. Conduct window cleaning and floor care to maintain a bright, polished appearance throughout the restaurant. Handle laundry services for linens, uniforms, and other fabric items following proper procedures. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly to ensure safety during chemical handling and manual cleaning tasks. Maintain sanitation standards by regularly disinfecting surfaces and adhering to infection control protocols. Operate pressure washing equipment for exterior cleaning tasks such as walkways or outdoor dining spaces. Assist with custodial duties including trash removal, restocking supplies, and ensuring all cleaning tools are properly maintained. Skills Proven janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and infection control measures. Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly while following safety guidelines. Skilled in using various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, pressure washers, and window cleaning tools. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and prolonged periods of standing or walking. Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and guests when needed. Familiarity with laundry services, floor care procedures, and general custodial responsibilities is preferred.
