The ideal candidate is a bit more "sporting" than typical — comfortable being on their feet and moving around a large rural property, at ease around animals and the outdoors, and happy to occasionally clean outdoor spaces. The Housekeeper will maintain a few separate spaces, keeping them clean, organized, and welcoming. Beyond core housekeeping, the role may include light outdoor or physical tasks — helping set up for gatherings, tidying porches and entryways,and seasonal organizing. A flexible, active, can-do approach is essential. To be successful in this role you should be detail-oriented, trustworthy, and comfortable taking direction directly from the Owner, while also using good judgment and initiative when working independently.

Position responsibilities and duties:

• General housekeeping: cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and tidying all living spaces
• Light seasonal and deep-cleaning projects (windows, baseboards, closets, garage/mudroom areas)
• Helping set up and break down for family gatherings or events, including some lifting and moving of furniture or equipment
• Comfortable being outdoors and around animals
• Running errands and helping manage household inventory and supplies
• Flexibility to help with miscellaneous household tasks as they arise

Qualifications:

1. Previous housekeeping, hospitality, or household management experience preferred 2. A more active, "sporting" disposition — comfortable on your feet, moving between rooms and floors, and occasionally helping outdoors 3. Able to regularly lift 25-35 pounds and comfortable with extensive periods of standing, walking, bending, and light physical activity 4. Available to work part-time or full-time, minimum 32 hours per week 5. Highly detail-oriented, organized, and trustworthy with access to a private residence 6. Ability to understand direction and work independently with minimal supervision; comfortable communicating via text or email 7. A valid and clean driver's license, and reliable transportation to work sites 8. Free from health issues that interfere with Housekeeper duties
