Conduct manual handling of cleaning supplies, furniture, and equipment safely, including heavy lifting when necessary. Maintain high standards of sanitation in public areas, guest corridors, restrooms, and service spaces by utilizing proper custodial techniques. Assist in hotel housekeeping management by supporting room attendants with cleaning supplies and replenishment needs. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest safety during incidents or hazardous situations. Use cleaning equipment effectively while ensuring proper maintenance and storage after use to prolong their lifespan. Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking guests and team members to address cleaning requests or concerns promptly. Skills Fluency in Mandarin is essential for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking guests and staff. Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles within hospitality environments. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors. Familiarity with chemical agents used in cleaning and sanitation processes along with proper handling protocols. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices and custodial procedures. Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest safety at all times. Physical capability for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, and prolonged standing or walking.
