Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping / Porter for our Assisted Living community. The ideal candidate will possess strong custodial skills, experience in cleaning and maintenance, and a commitment to creating a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for residents and staff alike. This role involves performing cleaning duties, assisting with facilities maintenance, and supporting overall community operations to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and facility amenities using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures and safety protocols. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools to maintain cleanliness standards. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or supplies while adhering to safe lifting practices. Conduct routine sanitation procedures throughout the facility to promote health and safety for residents and staff. Support general facilities maintenance including minor repairs, painting, and upkeep of communal spaces as needed. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs for replenishment or repairs promptly. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is preferred. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and commercial cleaning tools. Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards. Experience with heavy lifting tasks while following safe lifting practices. Background in facilities maintenance or light repair work is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with an ability to interact respectfully with residents and team members. We are currently hiring for the following shifts: Housekeeping Sunday, Monday, Friday from 7:30am

•3:30pm Porter Monday and Friday from 8am

From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 7.5
