Job Summary This is a seasonal position, that will end November 1, 2026. We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our busy hotel team in Lake George and help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and housekeeping tasks across hotel spaces, ensuring high standards of sanitation and presentation. Your attention to detail, strong work ethic, and customer service skills will contribute to creating a positive experience for clients and residents alike. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all surfaces, including dusting, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment. Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items efficiently. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards across all areas. Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely while adhering to proper handling techniques. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces when required, including sweeping patios or outdoor furniture. Use specialized cleaning equipment for floor care, carpet cleaning, or window washing to enhance overall appearance. Communicate effectively with clients or residents to understand specific needs and provide exceptional customer service. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation standards. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift. Physical capability for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and detergents used in residential or commercial settings is a plus.
