Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle various cleaning agents safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling protocols Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and maintain floor care standards to ensure a polished appearance Manage heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies with proper manual handling techniques Maintain sanitation standards by properly disposing of waste and replenishing supplies in line with hotel policies Use janitorial equipment efficiently, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and other cleaning tools Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns to ensure guest and staff safety Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with strong janitorial expertise Skilled in floor cleaning, floor care, and general cleaning practices to uphold cleanliness standards Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while maintaining safety protocols Excellent customer service skills to interact politely with guests and team members Knowledge of hotel housekeeping procedures and sanitation requirements.
