A Maid or Housekeeping Staff provides cleaning and housekeeping services, primarily for rooms and bathrooms in hotels and hospitals. May also work in private residences, office buildings, colleges, other institutions.
Holiday Inn Express is seeking detail-oriented, hardworking, and dependable Housekeeping Attendants to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to brand and safety standards. Make beds, change linens, vacuum floors, and restock amenities and supplies. Report any maintenance issues, missing items, or damages promptly to the supervisor or front desk. Handle guest requests and concerns with a friendly and helpful attitude. Follow hotel policies on key control, privacy, and security procedures. Ensure carts, closets, and storage areas are well-stocked, organized, and clean. Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. Maintain cleanliness in hallways, stairwells, lobbies, and other public areas. Work efficiently to meet room cleaning timelines and daily workload goals. Support other hotel departments as needed to ensure smooth operations. Be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts based on hotel needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel, resort, or similar setting is preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and stay productive throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standards. Good time-management and organizational skills. Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and move heavy items such as mattresses or carts. Effective communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment with changing priorities.
