Job Summary As a Housekeeper/Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms and public areas to Marriott and City Express brand standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will ensure every guest enjoys a comfortable and memorable stay. Responsibilities Clean and prepare guest rooms according to Marriott brand standards. Make beds, replace linens, and replenish towels and guest amenities. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including tubs, showers, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors. Dust, polish, and wipe furniture, fixtures, windows, doors, and other surfaces. Vacuum carpets and clean hard surface floors in guest rooms and public areas. Restock housekeeping carts and maintain linen and supply rooms. Inspect rooms for cleanliness, safety, and maintenance concerns. Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety hazards promptly. Maintain clean hallways, lobbies, and other public spaces. Assist the laundry department as needed. Provide friendly, courteous service to guests and fellow team members. Follow all hotel safety procedures and company policies. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is a plus but not required—we are happy to train motivated candidates. Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment. Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
