Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a spotless environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by executing routine cleaning tasks with precision. Handle cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely, adhering strictly to safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols for chemical handling. Conduct floor care activities such as mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning using appropriate industrial cleaning tools. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or supplies while following proper manual handling procedures to prevent injury. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently during any incidents or safety concerns to ensure guest and staff safety. Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to hotel housekeeping management guidelines and ensuring all areas meet health regulations. Experience Proven custodial or janitorial experience in a hospitality or commercial setting with a focus on hotel housekeeping management. Familiarity with cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor buffers, and other industrial cleaning tools. Knowledge of chemical agent handling, sanitation practices, and safety protocols related to hotel housekeeping operations. Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality roles demonstrating excellent customer service skills and attention to detail. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely while maintaining efficiency. Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and the importance of safety data sheets (SDS) in chemical handling. Previous experience with industrial cleaning techniques and janitorial responsibilities that support high standards of cleanliness.
