HOUSEMAN

As a Houseman for Traditions Hospitality Group, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our hotel facilities. Your attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction will contribute to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other common areas, ensuring they are neat, orderly, and free of debris. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas. Assist housekeeping staff with the delivery of linens, towels, and other supplies to guest rooms as needed. Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities, such as extra towels or toiletries. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as vacuuming, dusting, and mopping floors. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and amenities in public areas. Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms, banquet halls, and other event spaces. Collaborate with other hotel staff and departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve any issues or concerns. Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality in all aspects of your work.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to pass a background check. Must be able to obtain a Gaming License (if applicable). Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude and willingness to assist guests and colleagues. Occasional exposure to mild to moderate smoke in certain areas of the hotel.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT

Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Lift and carry moderate to heavy loads 50 lbs. or more including linens and cleaning supplies. Exposure to various weather conditions when performing outdoor duties. Moderate physical effort required. What's in it for you?
