Job Description
Housekeeper Join a team where your work truly matters. As a Housekeeper in our senior living community, you will help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for the residents who call our community home. Key Responsibilities Cleaning & Sanitation Clean resident apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces. Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize common areas, offices, and entryways. Clean carpets and hard-surface floors according to schedule. Empty trash from apartments, bathrooms, offices, and common spaces. Clean patios, courtyards, sidewalks, ashtrays, and entryways to maintain a neat appearance. Disinfect frequently touched surfaces in compliance with infection control standards. Follow established daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for all areas of the community. Environmental Maintenance Support Maintain cleanliness of courtyard furniture and outdoor community spaces. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and chemical safety. Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40 pounds routinely. Must demonstrate patience, tact, and professionalism when interacting with residents, staff, and visitors. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Experience in housekeeping, environmental services, or custodial work, preferably in senior living or healthcare. Familiarity with OSHA cleaning guidelines and infection control procedures.
