Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and surface sanitation to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards. Conduct floor care activities such as carpet cleaning, polishing, waxing, and buffing to preserve flooring quality. Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing as needed. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including trash removal and outdoor surface cleaning. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety protocols. Knowledge of various cleaning surfaces and appropriate cleaning techniques for each type. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools. Ability to implement proper sanitation practices in residential or commercial settings. Experience with laundry services and handling cleaning detergents safely. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple locations. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly without difficulty. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
