Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Handle chemical agents safely by adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper chemical handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms to uphold high standards of sanitation and floor care. Conduct heavy lifting tasks when necessary, such as moving furniture or supplies, following manual handling safety protocols. Use specialized cleaning equipment effectively to ensure floors are spotless through floor cleaning and floor care techniques. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure safety for guests and staff in all situations. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring their comfort throughout their stay. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments with knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices. Strong skills in floor cleaning, vacuuming, sanitation, and general cleaning techniques. Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while maintaining safety standards. Familiarity with cleaning equipment and tools used in professional housekeeping settings. Excellent manual handling skills for heavy lifting and moving supplies safely. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude toward guests and team members. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) to ensure a secure environment at all times.
