Full-Time, Hourly / Non-Exempt Position Overview NM Hospitality is seeking dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Room Attendants/Housekeepers to join our team at the EVEN Hotel Pittsburgh Downtown. Our Housekeeping team plays one of the most important roles in the guest experience. The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring guestrooms are clean, comfortable, properly stocked, and ready for our guests in accordance with IHG and NM Hospitality standards . Key Responsibilities Clean and service assigned guestrooms according to hotel and IHG brand standards. Make beds and replace linens as required. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures. Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, windows, and other guestroom surfaces. Vacuum carpets and clean hard-surface flooring. Remove trash and properly dispose of waste. Restock towels, linens, toiletries, and guest supplies. Ensure guestrooms are properly organized and presented before being released as clean. Inspect rooms for maintenance concerns, damage, or missing items and immediately report issues to management. Properly handle and report lost-and-found items. Maintain housekeeping carts and supplies in a clean and organized manner. Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Assist with cleaning hallways, public areas, and other areas of the hotel when necessary. Communicate room status and special guest requests to Housekeeping leadership and the Front Desk. Follow all hotel safety, security, sanitation, and OSHA-related procedures. Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with guests. Complete assigned rooms within established productivity and quality standards. Perform additional housekeeping duties as assigned by hotel management. Qualifications Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred, but we are willing to train dependable candidates with a strong work ethic . IHG hotel experience is a plus. Strong attention to cleanliness and detail. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment. Ability to follow cleaning procedures, safety requirements, and supervisor instructions. Ability to perform a physically active job, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing housekeeping carts, and lifting supplies throughout the shift. Must be available to work a flexible hotel schedule, including weekends and holidays .
