Charleston Clean Routine provides modern, premium residential cleaning services built around reliability, discretion, professionalism, and consistently high standards. We are looking for independent professionals who take pride in their work and understand the level of trust involved in working inside private residences. This is an independent contractor opportunity , not an employee position. Contractors choose which available assignments they wish to accept based on location, availability, travel preferences, and desired workload. Compensation Contractor compensation varies according to the service zone and assignment location. Premium-zone assignments, including applicable Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island services, currently pay up to $35 per hour. Applicable compensation and assignment details are provided before a contractor accepts an assignment. Typical Work Availability Depending on customer demand, provider availability, location, and accepted assignments, opportunities may generally range from approximately 10-25 hours per week as Charleston Clean Routine develops its recurring client base in these communities. No minimum number of hours is guaranteed or required. Independent contractors determine which available assignments they wish to accept. Types of Assignments Opportunities may include: Recurring residential cleaning Premium-home cleaning Deep cleaning Move-in and move-out cleaning Vacation-home cleaning Vacation-rental turnovers Guest-ready services Refresh & Reset services Apartment and condominium cleaning Recurring residences and vacation properties may provide opportunities for consistent ongoing assignments. What We're Looking For Strong candidates will demonstrate: Exceptional reliability and punctuality Excellent attention to detail Professional, responsive communication Discretion and respect for client confidentiality Good judgment while working independently Care when handling clients' homes, belongings, and access information Ability to follow established service standards and property-specific instructions Reliable transportation to accepted assignments Willingness and ability to travel to the service areas selected by the contractor Ability to use a smartphone and scheduling/service applications Professional appearance and conduct in client homes Residential cleaning, professional housekeeping, hospitality, vacation-rental, luxury residential, property-management, or premium home-service experience is preferred. Applicants without extensive professional cleaning experience may still be considered if they demonstrate exceptional reliability, professionalism, judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to meet Charleston Clean Routine service standards. Flexible Availability & Service Areas During pre-screening, applicants will identify: Days and times they are generally available Specific Charleston-area communities where they are willing to accept assignments Willingness to accept assignments on Johns Island, Kiawah Island, and/or Seabrook Island Desired weekly workload Whether they prefer solo or team assignments How soon they are available to begin accepting assignments Contractors are not required to accept every assignment offered. Contractor Qualification Requirements Before being approved to accept assignments, selected contractors must complete Charleston Clean Routine's qualification and onboarding process.
