Main Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of public areas, hallways, elevators, stairways, and housekeeping areas. Deliver and collect clean and dirty linens, towels, and supplies. Stock housekeeping closets and ensure supplies are available for room attendants. Assist room attendants with guest-room cleaning and heavy cleaning tasks as needed. Remove trash and soiled linens from guest rooms and housekeeping areas. Vacuum, mop, dust, and clean assigned areas. Move rollaway beds, furniture, mattresses, and other equipment when necessary. Keep housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and equipment clean and organized. Report maintenance issues, damaged property, safety hazards, or guest concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Assist guests courteously when encountered and respond to reasonable requests. Follow IHG and hotel safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and guest-service standards. Perform other housekeeping duties assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor. Physical Requirements Standing and walking for most of the shift. Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Lifting and carrying linens, supplies, and equipment. Moving heavier items such as beds or furniture with assistance when required.
