Full-time and Part-time Job Overview We are seeking dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeepers / Laundry Attendants to join our team in Alcoa, TN. This position plays an important role in providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every guest. Team members may work in guest room housekeeping, hotel laundry operations, or a combination of both depending on the needs of the hotel. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment, and understands that cleanliness and attention to detail are essential to delivering an excellent guest experience. Previous hotel housekeeping or laundry experience is preferred, but we are willing to train dependable individuals with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Housekeeping Responsibilities Clean and prepare guest rooms according to Hilton brand and hotel standards Make beds and replace sheets, pillowcases, and other linens Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures Vacuum carpets and sweep and mop floors Dust furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and other surfaces Replace towels, toiletries, and guest room amenities Empty trash and remove used linens from guest rooms Complete stayover and checkout room cleaning according to hotel procedures Inspect rooms for damaged or missing items and report concerns to management Report maintenance issues promptly Maintain housekeeping carts, supplies, and assigned equipment Follow proper procedures for guest belongings and lost-and-found items Complete assigned rooms within established productivity and quality standards Assist other housekeeping team members during high-occupancy periods Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures Laundry Responsibilities Sort dirty linens and towels according to hotel procedures Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels Inspect linens and towels for stains, damage, and excessive wear Properly treat stained linens when required Maintain adequate supplies of clean towels, sheets, pillowcases, and other linens Stock housekeeping shelves, carts, and linen storage areas as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry room Clean lint traps and laundry equipment as required Follow proper chemical measurements and safety procedures Help control unnecessary linen loss, damage, and waste Report linen shortages and equipment problems to management Assist with transporting clean and dirty linens throughout the hotel Qualifications Previous hotel housekeeping or laundry experience preferred, but not required Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule Strong attention to detail Positive attitude and willingness to help other team members Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to follow Hilton brand standards and hotel procedures Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high cleanliness standards Good communication and organizational skills Must have reliable transportation to and from work Must be available to work weekends and holidays based on hotel occupancy and business needs Physical Requirements This is an active position that requires team members to: Stand and walk for extended periods Bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift Push and maneuver housekeeping carts Lift and carry linens, supplies, and other hotel items Regularly lift approximately 25-30 pounds and occasionally heavier items with assistance Perform repetitive cleaning and laundry duties throughout the workday What We Expect We are looking for team members who: Take pride in keeping guest rooms exceptionally clean Understand the importance of guest satisfaction Pay attention to the small details guests notice Work with a sense of urgency without sacrificing quality Treat guests and coworkers with respect Are willing to help wherever needed Protect hotel property, supplies, linens, and equipment Follow Hilton brand standards and hotel policies Maintain a professional and positive attitude Compensation & Benefits Starting $14.00 , based on experience Performance bonus based on guest satisfaction, brand performance, and other established KPIs Paid time off Hilton employee travel discounts Employee and family hotel discounts where applicable Long-term career growth opportunities with a multi-property hotel ownership group
