•17.00 per hour, based on experience Job Overview Hampton Inn Knoxville Airport is seeking a dependable, friendly, and hardworking Shuttle Driver / Houseman to join our team. This is a hands-on hospitality position responsible for providing safe and friendly transportation for our guests to and from McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS), while also performing houseman and general property duties when not operating the shuttle. Our shuttle driver is often one of the first and last team members our guests interact with. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent service, maintains a professional appearance, and is willing to help wherever needed throughout the hotel. Shuttle & Guest Transportation Responsibilities Safely transport hotel guests to and from McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) and other approved nearby locations. Greet every guest in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner. Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage. Respond promptly to shuttle requests and communicate pickup and drop-off information with the Front Desk. Follow all traffic laws, hotel policies, and safety procedures. Maintain a clean, professional, and guest-ready shuttle at all times. Complete required vehicle inspections before operating the shuttle. Immediately report any vehicle maintenance or safety concerns to management. Maintain accurate shuttle and mileage logs as required by hotel management. Houseman & Hotel Support Responsibilities When not operating the shuttle, you will be expected to remain productive and assist with houseman and general hotel duties, including: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel lobby, hallways, elevators, entrances, public restrooms, and other common areas. Remove trash from public and back-of-house areas. Keep hotel entrances, sidewalks, parking areas, and guest arrival areas clean and presentable. Assist guests with luggage and other reasonable guest requests. Assist with moving furniture, deliveries, supplies, and equipment. Receive and organize hotel deliveries and supplies as needed. Assist with meeting room and common-area setup when required. Regularly monitor public areas and address cleanliness or safety concerns. Report maintenance, safety, or property concerns to management immediately. Assist with basic property upkeep. Support the Front Desk and other hotel departments during busy periods as directed by management. Perform additional houseman or hotel-support duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Must have a valid Tennessee driver's license with an F endorsement. Must have an acceptable driving record and meet company and insurance requirements to operate the hotel shuttle. Previous hotel, shuttle-driving, houseman, or customer-service experience is preferred. Must be dependable, punctual, professional, and able to work independently. Strong guest-service and communication skills. Must be comfortable assisting guests with luggage. Ability to safely lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Must be willing to assist throughout the hotel when not operating the shuttle. •This Is Not a Driving-Only Position This position combines shuttle driving and houseman responsibilities . When you are not transporting guests, you will be expected to remain productive by performing houseman duties and assisting with the general appearance and operation of the hotel. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, notices what needs attention, and is willing to step in and help without always waiting to be asked. Compensation & Benefits $14.00
