Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and chemical agents Handle cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, buffers, and other janitorial tools efficiently and safely Perform heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture or supplies to ensure thorough cleaning coverage Follow safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines for handling chemical agents and ensure proper storage and disposal of cleaning materials Maintain high standards of sanitation by adhering to hotel housekeeping management protocols and industry best practices Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards in accordance with hotel emergency procedures Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or cleaning needs Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning environments Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including floor cleaning, polishing, and maintenance Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following all safety data sheet (SDS) instructions Competence in operating various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners Excellent manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely during cleaning tasks Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude towards guests and team members Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all staff and guests Join us in creating a welcoming atmosphere where cleanliness meets excellence!
