HELP CREATE A CLEAN, SAFE, AND WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT

Do you take pride in keeping things clean, organized, and looking their best? Join our team as a Housekeeper and play an important role in creating a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and employees. Under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive areas throughout the facility. This position plays an important role in supporting a healthy environment and ensuring the facility meets established BCS policies and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Clean and maintain assigned areas according to established schedules and procedures. Maintain a clean, orderly, sanitary, and attractive environment throughout the facility. Safely use cleaning chemicals, supplies, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, and other housekeeping equipment. Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor. Set up and take down tables, chairs, and other equipment for special events and functions. Properly clean and store equipment and supplies after use. Follow all applicable safety, infection-control, and regulatory requirements. Communicate concerns or maintenance needs to the appropriate supervisor. Work cooperatively with coworkers and other departments. Assist with additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Work overtime when needed to support facility operations. Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.

PHYSICAL & SPECIAL DEMANDS

This position requires the ability to: Lift or move up to 50 pounds frequently and 25 pounds constantly, and push or pull up to 200 pounds. Reach from floor level to approximately 6 feet and position oneself as needed to complete cleaning tasks. Move throughout the facility regularly. Ascend and descend up to 10 flights of stairs regularly. Understand and follow basic instructions, guidelines, and established procedures. Safely work around cleaning chemicals, including ammonia, bleach, detergents, and other cleaning products.
