Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure safety and hygiene compliance. Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, carpet cleaning, and floor polishing to preserve the appearance and safety of all flooring types. Handle manual lifting of furniture, appliances, or supplies safely while adhering to proper handling techniques to prevent injury. Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide exceptional customer service throughout each visit. Use janitorial and custodial experience to operate cleaning equipment effectively while maintaining cleanliness standards in both indoor and outdoor areas. Experience Prior residential cleaning or housekeeping experience is highly preferred; hotel or commercial cleaning background is a plus. Familiarity with cleaning surfaces such as countertops, appliances, windows, and fixtures. Knowledge of cleaning detergents, floor care products, and sanitation practices to ensure effective cleaning results. Experience with carpet cleaning methods and outdoor work is advantageous. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple client homes. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling supplies or furniture during deep cleans or outdoor work. Excellent client communication skills to foster trust and ensure customer satisfaction in all interactions.
