Job Summary:

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining office and showroom areas, ensuring cleanliness, stocking supplies, operating cleaning equipment, and performing inspections and special projects as needed.

About The Role:

Perform cleaning and sanitation duties, including but not limited to: vacuuming, wiping ledges & counters, mopping, dusting, window cleaning, etc., in company offices, reception, restrooms, kitchens, warehouse, and shipping & receiving office. Ensure the showroom and offices are clean, free of dust and debris, including on the floor, ledges and around & behind furniture. Care of furnishings, finishes, and delicate surfaces including care of art, marble, wood and other surfaces. Stocking, replenishing and supplying facility areas as needed Organize and manage inventories of supplies and materials. Manage garbage and recycling, ensuring proper disposal practices. Operate floor scrubber and other equipment Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects Understand and adhere to all health and safety policies in the workplace Perform and document routine inspections, identifying and reporting maintenance or repair needs. Handle general requests and aid in day-to-day operations as needed. Other ad hoc duties as required

• 3 years of prior janitorial / cleaning experience in an office and warehouse setting Strong English communication skills; verbal and written Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances Attention to detail and conscientiousness Ability to lift 15-35 lbs, walk, climb stairs, and stand for several hours Able to work a flexible shift if needed
