Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly. Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and buffers efficiently to maintain high standards of floor care and industrial cleaning. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, linens, or cleaning supplies while adhering to safety protocols. Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns. Ensure all sanitation standards are met by adhering to hotel housekeeping management protocols and maintaining cleanliness records. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial work with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and sanitation practices. Familiarity with floor cleaning methods including floor care equipment operation and chemical handling. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently throughout shifts. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond effectively in urgent situations. Experience with hotel housekeeping management systems or custodial management is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
