Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing Use cleaning agents safely by adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper chemical handling procedures Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces and high-touch areas regularly Operate janitorial equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, mops, and scrubbers with precision and care Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or large laundry loads while following manual handling safety protocols Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns with excellent customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience Qualifications Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely in accordance with SDS guidelines and safety procedures Strong manual handling skills with physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and janitorial supplies is advantageous Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is a plus Embark on a rewarding career where your attention to cleanliness transforms guest stays into memorable experiences!
