This role requires attention to detail, time management, and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas Change bed linens and replace towels and toiletries Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust rooms and public spaces Restock room supplies such as soap, shampoo, coffee, and tissues Report maintenance issues or damaged items to supervisors Follow hotel safety and sanitation standards Respond to guest requests politely and promptly Handle lost-and-found items according to hotel policy Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good physical stamina; ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk for long periods Attention to detail and reliability Basic communication skills Work Environment Hotels, resorts, or hospitality properties May require weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts Fast-paced environment with daily cleaning targets Typical Skills Time management Organization Customer service Cleaning and sanitation knowledge Teamwork Sample Short Version (for a job posting)We are seeking a reliable Hotel Housekeeper to clean guest rooms and maintain hotel cleanliness standards.
