Housekeeping Job Summary Courtyard by Marriott Frisco is looking for dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeepers / Room Attendants to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you play an important role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every guest. You will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms according to hotel standards while providing friendly and professional service. Job Duties & Responsibilities Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards. Make beds and replace sheets, pillowcases, and other linens. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, bathtubs, sinks, mirrors, and floors. Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, countertops, and other room surfaces. Vacuum carpets and mop hard-surface floors. Remove trash and replace trash liners. Replace used towels and replenish guest room supplies and amenities. Check rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, damage, or missing items and report concerns to management. Maintain housekeeping carts and ensure they are properly stocked and organized. Clean assigned guest rooms within established productivity and quality standards. Follow proper procedures for lost-and-found items. Follow hotel safety, sanitation, and security procedures. Respond professionally and courteously when interacting with hotel guests. Assist with cleaning public areas or other housekeeping duties when needed. Work cooperatively with housekeeping, front desk, maintenance, and other hotel departments. Complete additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is preferred but not required . Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance. Positive and professional attitude. Ability to follow instructions and hotel cleaning procedures. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, which may include weekends and holidays . Physical Requirements This position requires regular physical activity throughout the shift, including: Standing and walking for extended periods. Bending, reaching, kneeling, and repetitive movement. Pushing and pulling a housekeeping cart. Lifting and carrying linens, supplies, and other housekeeping materials. Performing repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the workday.
