Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces as needed. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health standards are met or exceeded. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to clean surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery effectively. Manage laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Dust surfaces, clean windows, mirrors, and other fixtures to maintain a sparkling environment. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely and efficiently. Maintain proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high standards of quality. Assist with outdoor work including patio cleaning or yard tidying when required. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and safety procedures related to manual handling and heavy lifting. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting heavy objects, and outdoor work when necessary. Experience in housekeeping management or residential housekeeping is a plus but not required.
