Lead Housekeeper | Full Time | 7a-3:30p Service / Skilled Trades Environmental Services
DESCRIPTION

Shift Information:
This position is Full-Time. $14.00 per hour minimum and can increase based on experience.

Performs a variety of housekeeping and floor care tasks. Requires strong supervisory skills. Provide leadership, direction and equity for and in the dealing with all employees. Creates an effective and cohesive working relationship with department employees, Department Heads, all hospital staff, and the public. Ensures regulatory compliance regarding sanitation for patients, guests, and employees. Ensures that public areas are appropriately sanitized to project a strong positive image. Communicates pertinent policy and procedure information to ensure compliance to infection control and sanitation standards. Provides multi-disciplinary support services. Participates in employee awareness and education.
Preferred Education:
High School Diploma or GED Required Technical Skills:
Familiarity with the operation of floor care equipment and all housekeeping equipment
Required Experience:
Minimum of one year Housekeeping experience in a Hospital or Nursing Home. Familiarity with chemical sanitizers and general housekeeping functions
Preferred Experience:
Three years of prior floor care experience. Three years of Supervisory experience
