Position Summary The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. This position plays an essential role in creating a positive guest experience by providing efficient, detail-oriented housekeeping services in accordance with hotel standards. Key Responsibilities

Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.

Replace linens, towels, and guest amenities as needed.

Empty trash, replenish supplies, and ensure rooms are fully stocked for arriving guests.

Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and safety concerns, reporting any deficiencies promptly.

Clean and maintain public areas, hallways, elevators, and other assigned spaces.

Operate housekeeping equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely and according to established procedures.

Respond promptly to guest requests for additional linens, towels, toiletries, or other housekeeping services.

Follow hotel policies regarding lost and found items.

Maintain housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and supply inventory in a clean and organized manner.

Work closely with the front desk and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.

Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with guests.

Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
