Laundry Attendant / Lobby Houseperson We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant / Lobby Houseperson to join our hotel team. This position plays an important role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every guest. This is a hands-on position that combines hotel laundry responsibilities with the cleaning and upkeep of public areas throughout the property. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works well independently, and is willing to help wherever needed.
What You'll Do Laundry Responsibilities:
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and stocked Inspect linens for stains, damage, or excessive wear Assist with distributing clean linens to housekeeping storage areas Follow proper procedures for handling chemicals and cleaning products
Public-Area Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain the hotel lobby, elevators, hallways, entryways, and stairwells Clean and restock public restrooms Empty interior and exterior trash receptacles Clean glass doors, windows, furniture, and other high-touch surfaces Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot-clean floors and carpets Maintain the cleanliness of the hotel entrance and surrounding exterior areas Respond promptly to spills, trash, and other cleaning needs Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to management Assist the housekeeping team with additional tasks as needed What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Friendly, professional, and willing to help Strong attention to detail Able to work independently and stay productive Comfortable performing repetitive and physically active work Able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift Previous hotel, housekeeping, janitorial, or laundry experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person Schedule This position requires a flexible and variable schedule based on the needs of the hotel.
