Duties Perform floor cleaning and floor care using appropriate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and mops to maintain high standards of sanitation and appearance Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure a secure environment Conduct janitorial and industrial cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal across guest rooms, hallways, and service areas Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies, furniture, or equipment to support housekeeping staff and ensure efficient operations Support hotel housekeeping management by replenishing supplies, restocking linen carts, and maintaining cleanliness in storage areas Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to respond effectively to safety incidents or hazardous situations Use cleaning equipment properly to ensure optimal performance while maintaining safety standards Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with a strong understanding of sanitation practices Skilled in floor cleaning techniques including vacuuming, buffing, and detailed floor care Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and familiarity with safety data sheets (SDS) for safe product use Ability to operate various cleaning equipment efficiently and safely in a hospitality environment Excellent customer service skills to assist guests courteously when needed Strong manual handling abilities for heavy lifting tasks associated with industrial cleaning or supply movement Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety at all times Embark on a rewarding journey where your commitment to cleanliness directly enhances our guests' experience!
