Western States Lodging & Management is looking for an experienced Guest Room Attendant who can deliver exceptional cleanliness while serving as a trusted resource and mentor for the housekeeping team. In this role, you'll work with a high level of independence, help uphold housekeeping standards, support newer associates, conduct room inspections, and assist with maintaining the supplies and processes needed for a successful housekeeping operation. The starting rate is based on experience and qualifications. Personal Time Off (PTO) and Vacation benefits What You'll Do Clean and service guest rooms efficiently while consistently meeting hotel and brand cleanliness standards Prioritize daily cleaning responsibilities based on guest check-in and check-out times and operational needs Provide hands-on training, guidance, and support to help associates understand cleaning procedures and quality expectations Assist housekeeping leadership with developing and implementing cleaning protocols, procedures, and quality standards Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, presentation, sanitation, and brand standards are consistently met Respond professionally to special guest requests and housekeeping needs Assist with monitoring housekeeping inventory, including cleaning products, linens, toiletries, and guest amenities Support the ordering and organization of cleaning supplies and amenities to maintain appropriate inventory levels Follow and reinforce established safety, sanitation, security, and chemical-handling procedures Demonstrate Western States Lodging & Management hospitality and service standards in every guest and associate interaction What Makes You Successful High school diploma or equivalent preferred 3+ years of housekeeping, guest room attendant, or related hospitality experience Extensive knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and sanitation procedures Strong understanding of guest room cleanliness and quality standards Strong customer service and guest-relations abilities Ability to professionally handle escalated concerns and high-pressure situations Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Ability to work independently while contributing positively to the housekeeping team Availability to work some weekends and holidays as business needs require Authorization to work in the United States and proof of identity as required by federal law Physical Requirements This position requires frequent walking and standing throughout the shift, along with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive cleaning movements. Guest Room Attendants must also be able to use proper body mechanics and lifting techniques to occasionally lift, move, or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
