Housekeeper

Summary VIDA Housekeepers are responsible for providing cleaning services to the club and a clean and safe environment for all while they are using the club. The Housekeeping Department interacts positively and professionally with all staff, members, guests and prospects while monitoring club cleanliness and safety at all times. Required Skills

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Six (6) months commercial cleaning experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Ability to retain a broad knowledge of tasks performed
• Ability to remain flexible in order to adapt to changing work environments
• Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks
• Exhibit a professional and polite appearance and demeanor

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and sanitary at all times.
• Report any accident or injury in the workplace to club manager.
• Attend monthly housekeeping meeting.
• Wear the proper uniform as designated in the employee handbook.
• Ensure all janitorial supply closets are clean, organized all the time
• Change light bulbs as needed.
• Maintain the locker room area always looking great and smelling fresh.
• Collect all the dirty towels around the club.
• Help with the laundry, Washing and drying and folding towels as needed.
• Make sure all cleaning supplies and chemical solutions are being stored, used and are properly labeled at all times. MSDS sheets for all products should be on hand for reference.
• Follow all club and OSHA safety guidelines and use protective equipment as needed.
• Report any safety hazards, broken equipment tools etc. to your direct manager.
• Follow all company policies and procedures as outlined by the handbook.
• Arrive on time for work as scheduled.
• Sanitizing all the workout equipment.
• Helping with high dusting.
• Clean Mirrors.
• Vacuum and mop

Wash Showers Pay:

$15.00 per hour
