Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, buffing, waxing, and polishing to keep floors pristine and safe for foot traffic Assist with hotel or facility setup and breakdown for events or functions to ensure smooth operations Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, elevators, restrooms, and other common areas in accordance with established standards Support janitorial duties by replenishing supplies, disposing of waste properly, and reporting maintenance issues promptly Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to ensure a secure environment for everyone Collaborate with housekeeping management to meet cleanliness standards and improve service quality Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work or janitorial services within hospitality or industrial settings preferred Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing floors Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is highly advantageous Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures to handle various cleaning tasks responsibly Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting supplies, standing for extended periods, bending, and reaching Join us as a Houseman and play a key role in creating an inviting atmosphere where guests feel comfortable and cared for.
