Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your attention to detail and dedication will create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities. Your efforts directly contribute to delivering an exceptional guest experience and uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety within our hotel. This position offers an energetic work environment where your skills in cleaning and customer service will shine. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment. Handle various cleaning tasks in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces to maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and sanitation protocols. Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Manage heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or supplies while following manual handling safety procedures. Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or hazards. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or industrial cleaning with a strong understanding of sanitation standards. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners. Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and safety protocols including SDS comprehension. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely for quality assurance. Previous experience managing housekeeping tasks within a hospitality setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
