Role Summary:

As a Housekeeping Porter you will be our "boots on the ground," managing quality assurance by safeguarding property conditions, solving light operation issues, and ensuring every home is guest-ready. You'll work a flexible, part-time schedule that may includes weekends and some holidays. The role is perfect for a hospitality-minded troubleshooter who enjoys variety, autonomy, and time on the road. Conduct property inspections within your assigned territory to ensure full compliance with Red Cottage standards for cleanliness, maintenance, and overall upkeep. Maintain on-hand inventory, confirming each home is stocked with the supplies and equipment required for seamless operations. Respond promptly to issues and requests—via email, phone, text, or tickets—on behalf of guests, homeowners, and the internal operations team. Perform light housekeeping and routine maintenance as needed (e.g., touch-up cleaning, linen changes, furniture re-staging, replacing light bulbs, filters, or batteries, and basic Wi-Fi troubleshooting). Travel frequently between properties in your coverage area to support day-to-day operations and verify standards are met. Work directly with the Housekeeping Team, completing assigned tasks and providing support as directed. Help facilitate an organized shared supply space and assist with inventory. Assist with house inspections and initial cleaning tasks immediately following large party guest departures and/or long term stays. Inventory items and check for damages. Occasionally interact with guests or homeowners. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1+ year of hospitality or customer-facing experience. Availability to work on weekends and holidays, with an overall flexible work schedule to fit business needs. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Ability to spend a majority of working time standing, walking, and driving to properties. Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, stoop, and occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 lbs. Excellent self-management skills, communication, and the ability to prioritize and deliver work to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast paced environment. Identify problems and propose solutions. Experience in Hospitality Maintenance and/or Real Estate are a plus. Must reside in the designated area. Provide references

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 25.0 per week
