Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our residential community. The ideal candidate will possess strong cleaning skills, excellent time management, and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for residents and staff alike. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures. Manage laundry services efficiently, ensuring linens are properly washed, dried, folded, and stored. Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to proper cleaning detergents and chemical handling protocols. Maintain outdoor areas as needed, including outdoor cleaning tasks that support overall property upkeep. Implement janitorial standards for cleanliness and sanitation to promote a healthy living environment. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or supplies in accordance with manual handling safety guidelines. Communicate professionally with residents and staff to address specific cleaning needs or requests promptly. Requirements Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation standards. Familiarity with cleaning equipment, cleaning detergents, and proper use of safety gear. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with physical endurance. Excellent customer service skills with a respectful approach toward residents and team members. Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior areas of the property.
