(Hours may vary based on business needs and operational workload). You impact every aspect of the guests stay. You touch all departments as your work takes you into all areas of the hotel. Guest service, team work and a drive to keep the property Duties include cleaning cleaning all hotel common areas and maintaining them during your shift, assisting the laundry and housekeeping departments, setting up the meeting space and servicing, and landscaping and maintaining outside of the hotel. May include driving the hotel van and light maintenance projects. Cleans all outside area walkways; sweeps stairways and landings; cleans railings and washes all EXIT doors and windows. Empties all interior and exterior trash receptacles as well as any trash located around the building or in the landscaping. Proper maintaining and servicing of meeting room facilities and cleaning after functions to include any pre-set work requested by sales manager, FOM or GM. Checks to make sure all storage areas and linen rooms in a clean and satisfactory condition, as well as, stocked with needed items. Assists with guest requests including but not limited to special requests, delivery of mail, guest items, luggage etc. Assists the room operations by collects soiled linen for laundering, delivering laundered lines to storage and guest rooms Assists the rooms operations as needed in stripping linens from rooms, making beds and other duties in the cleaning of guest rooms. Removes trash collected by room attendants or assists on restocking cart supplies. Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, and soiled linen. Drive the hotel van to transport guests and supplies. Perform light maintenance tasks outside of normal maintenance scheduled days/hours.
