HOTEL HOUSEKEEPER
The ideal candidate will be high-energy, dependable , and organized with previous hotel housekeeping experience. This individual's primary focus is customer satisfaction through the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel accommodations. By generating a clean and orderly environment for our guests, they are more likely to become repeat visitors! Responsibilities Cleaning assigned guestrooms in accordance with company standards (changing bed linens, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, removing trash, etc.) Replenishing amenities and supplies in assigned guestrooms Stocking and maintaining housekeeping cart Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor immediately Greeting guests in hallways in a pleasant and friendly manner Ensure guest privacy is respected and confidence is maintained Creating a room assignment plan for housekeeping team Hotel Housekeeper Requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy Ability to perform frequent and repetitive movements including bending and stooping Must be able to lift, push, and pull a moderate weight frequently Previous hospitality experience would be advantageous Strong verbal communication skills Well-presented and professional appearance Team player mentality This is a physical position. Candidates should be physically able to perform repetitive tasks, carry/push loads of 10-20 pounds regularly, bend and maneuver objects, etc. Come flourish with our team and be a part of a company that appreciates the hard work and dedication of our employees. Hours will be variable based upon occupancy with room for growth and additional hours available for motivated individuals. We expect to have 20-25 hours available initially, with up to full-time during peak seasons. Weekends will be required - and flexibility on daily availability is appreciated with some on-call shifts used during slower seasons. Shifts typically start between 9 and 10 am.
