Job Description
Country Villa in Little Chute is looking for dedicated housekeepers who are ready to work! We are hiring part time for part time positions at our facility! Join Our Team! We are looking for dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team in a long-term care healthcare setting. The Housekeeper plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff. Position Responsibilities Clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, offices, and other facility spaces according to established procedures. Follow infection prevention and control practices and facility cleaning protocols. Perform routine cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and trash removal. Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and areas as required. Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemicals. Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning products and equipment. Maintain cleanliness of resident and public areas while respecting residents' privacy, dignity, and personal belongings. Respond promptly to spills, accidents, and urgent cleaning needs. Work cooperatively with nursing, dietary, maintenance, and other departments to support a safe and comfortable environment. Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, damaged equipment, or other environmental concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Follow all facility policies, procedures, OSHA requirements, and applicable healthcare and infection-control standards. Provide courteous and respectful interactions with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers. Qualifications Previous housekeeping, environmental services, healthcare, hospital, hotel, or long-term care experience preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established cleaning procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to interact respectfully and compassionately with older adults and individuals with varying care needs. Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling equipment, and lifting as required. Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect resident privacy.
