JOB TITLE
Stock Room Clerk

Director of Supply Chain

Non-Exempt, Hourly
POSITION VALUE STATEMENT
Receives, stores, and issues parts and other materials to Production or Service Department. Maintains records of items received and issued. Verifies counts of goods received with packing slips and purchase orders. Assists in taking inventory as required.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Counts and stores received items in bins or shelves and mark part numbers on containers Print drawings and create production orders Make copies of warranties and prepare warranty packets Enter daily time tickets from employees on computer Picks parts for production orders using work orders or pick lists and moves material to production areas Pulls service parts orders for shipment and delivers to shipping department Prepares service kits Use computer to issue work orders and look up stock locations Print various reports Performs various clerical duties such as photocopying, filing, sorting, and distributing paperwork Participates in inventory Acts as a back-up for the Inventory Control Supervisor All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Able to work with minimum supervision Must be able to read, write and communicate in English Must have good basic math skills Must be able to become a certified forklift operator Must be able to operate a computer and be proficient in Microsoft Office products General Education Diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs without assistance. Must be able to sit and/or stand for up to 5 hours at a time. Must be able to bend, squat, reach, push, pull, climb and walk. Standing, walking, sitting, and bending for extended periods of time.
