Job Description
Job Summary:
Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors in an assisted living community. This role involves daily cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and other designated areas within the facility while ensuring compliance with health, sanitation, and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to daily and weekly schedules. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors, and organizing. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including infection control and sanitation standards. Empty trash containers and replenish supplies such as soap and toilet paper. Launder community linens as needed. Report maintenance issues or needed repairs to the appropriate department. Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely, per safety guidelines. Keep track of cleaning supplies, report shortages, and assist in restocking. Maintain respect for residents' privacy, preferences, and personal belongings at all times. Work cooperatively with other staff to support a positive and welcoming environment. Comply with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.Qualifications:
Prefer experience, but will train the right candidate. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Compassionate, respectful, and professional demeanor with elderly residents. Physical ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 50lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.Work Environment:
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and use of cleaning chemicals. Monday-Friday, No weekends, No holidays.Pay:
