Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all visitors. Prior experience in cleaning or custodial roles, especially within hotels or hospitality settings, is highly valued. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in housekeeping management and industrial cleaning, contributing to a positive guest experience. Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies Perform floor care tasks such as mopping and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness Ensure all public areas, hallways, and lobbies are tidy and well-maintained Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health standards Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude when interacting with guests and staff Must be able to kneel, bend and lift at least 50 lbs Must be flexible and able to work Saturdays and Sundays Experience Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial services, or custodial work is preferred Familiarity with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment is advantageous Experience in hospitality or housecleaning management can be beneficial for career growth within the organization Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential skills Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols related to custodial work is desirable This role provides an excellent platform for individuals passionate about maintaining cleanliness standards while delivering exceptional guest service.
