Position Summary The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and welcoming environments throughout the St. Camillus campus. Working under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager, this position helps ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents, staff, and visitors through exceptional housekeeping services. What You'll Do Clean resident rooms, apartments, common areas, offices, and ancillary spaces. Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and clean glass, walls, partitions, elevators, and stairwells. Remove trash and recyclables. Complete discharge and refurbishment cleaning. Restock housekeeping supplies and maintain equipment. Perform touch-point sanitation and infection prevention cleaning. Respond to housekeeping work orders and special projects. Assist with laundry operations as needed. Work collaboratively with teammates to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service. Qualifications Required Qualifications Minimum of one year of housekeeping experience. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to learn and properly use housekeeping equipment, supplies, and healthcare cleaning techniques. Commitment to safe work practices and quality standards. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or a related environment. Limited holiday requirements (not to exceed two holidays per year). Consistent attendance and punctuality are important to maintaining exceptional service for our residents. Physical Requirements This role requires the ability to: Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Push and pull equipment and carts. Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, sweep, and clean for extended periods. Work safely with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
