Houseperson Luther Manor - 3.4 Wauwatosa, WI Job Details Full-time 6 hours ago Benefits Free parking Tuition reimbursement Referral program Qualifications Chemical handling safety procedures Chemical handling English Full Job Description Houseperson Full time 1st Shift 7:00am to 3:30pm As the Houseperson you will perform the daily floor care of the corridors, activity and craft rooms, dining rooms and any other areas assigned. Additionally, you will also perform trash removal and linen pickups and other work duties as assigned by the housekeeping supervisor. Must have the ability to interact tactfully, diplomatically and effectively with staff, residents, family members, visitors, volunteers and other Luther Manor guest. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with residents and staff. Must have the ability to read, write and communicate using the English language. Must have the ability to spend 90% of the work shift moving about the work area. Must be physically capable of performing job functions throughout an eight-hour shift, include up to approximately 35 pounds. Must be able to demonstrate skills and knowledge of the proper use of chemicals and equipment use. Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to work a periodic weekend rotation. Must possess the ability to organize and manage time, set priorities and complete assignments on a timely basis under the supervision of the housekeeping supervisor. Actively participates in or initiates problem solving in job-related issues. Works positively with coworkers Ability to frequently perform tasks which require hand-eye coordination. Ability to see objects closely, discriminate colors, and to hear normal sounds within some background of noise.
