Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting. Handle cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely and efficiently while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Manage heavy lifting tasks involved in moving furniture or supplies with proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury. Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens to ensure guest comfort at all times. Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, tile maintenance, and vacuuming. Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while maintaining safety standards. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems is a plus but not required.
