Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest suites, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all surfaces to meet hotel standards. Handle chemical agents safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper chemical handling procedures. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and other janitorial tools effectively and safely. Manage heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or supplies while following manual handling safety protocols. Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas with attention to detail. Follow hotel emergency procedures in case of incidents or safety concerns, ensuring guest and staff safety at all times. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests for additional cleaning or amenities, fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial roles within hospitality settings. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care methods. Familiarity with chemical agent handling, safety data sheets (SDS), and sanitation protocols. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and other janitorial tools efficiently. Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety regulations related to hospitality operations.
