Job Description

Leading TV & streaming content creator is looking for Co-Executive Producer / Showrunner to join our team on a comedy clip show. The ideal candidate is an accomplished unscripted showrunner with a proven track record developing and producing premium content. They should have impeccable comedic timing, love finding the funniest moments, and know how to keep audiences engaged with tight pacing. This position would be from prep through production only over a 5-6 week period. They will not be responsible for post-production.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the overall creative vision and execution of the series. Guide comedy segments using pre-selected clips and original footage. Help develop structure, episode format, and editorial approach. Oversee creative and any field/studio production Collaborate closely with network executives, production company leadership, and key creative stakeholders. Guide story producers and editors prepping material for shoots Manage production schedules and budgets in partnership with the Head of Production, Line Producer and Production Manager. Ensure all creative and production deliverables are completed on schedule. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful production culture.
QUALIFICATIONS
Significant experience as an Executive Producer or Showrunner on nationally broadcast or streaming unscripted series. Strong background in clip shows, comedy, reality television, or premium documentary storytelling. Demonstrated success managing production teams and delivering high-quality programming on time and within budget. Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Strong relationships within the unscripted television community. Experience developing new formats from pilot through series is highly preferred.
POSITION DETAILS
Freelance - 5 to 6 weeks (with potential for ongoing work). In Person (not a remote positon)
Rate:
$3500-$5000/week DOE August 3rd Expected Start Date References upon request
