Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Processor/packer to join our team in a fast-paced food processing plant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are cut to plant specification efficiently and safely, adhering to all food safety regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of food production processes and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Meat Cutting Experience preffered. Duties Accurately cutting boxed meat to product specification for further processing. Operate processing machinery and equipment, ensuring proper functioning and maintenance. Follow all safety protocols, including OSHA guidelines, to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in the fabrication of products as needed, including meat cutting and preparation tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing and production area, adhering to sanitation standards. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or food processing preferred but not required. Ability to use knives and other cutting tools safely and efficiently in a meat cutting environment. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Excellent teamwork and leadership skills with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in food production. -Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred but not necessary.
