Job Description
General Operators Join a Team That Helps Feed the World We're looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to support seed production and processing operations. This role offers a variety of responsibilities throughout the year, including harvesting, packaging, warehousing, shipping, and equipment operation in a fast-paced agricultural environment. Key Responsibilities Support seed production, processing, packaging, and inventory operations. Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and work instructions.
Assist with seasonal activities including:
Harvest operations Seed treatment and conditioning Packaging and labeling Warehousing and shipping Load, unload, stage, and move materials. Operate forklifts and other equipment (training provided as needed). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assist with inventory tracking and data entry. Support general facility upkeep, cleaning, and 5S activities. Work independently or as part of a team to meet production goals. Qualifications Required At least 6 months of manufacturing, production, warehouse, or general labor experience. Ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures. Strong attendance and reliability. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks during 10-12 hour shifts. Preferred Experience Forklift experience. Warehouse, shipping, or inventory management experience. Agricultural, seed processing, or packaging experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Durant, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
